What Is This Place?

I started this site as a New Year's Resolution in 1998. It was known as the "Virtual Village" and survived in that form, with a revamp in 1999, until September 2001 when I redesigned it as you see it now. It was intended (and still is) as a place for me to put various things and to allow others have their own bit of the Web.

As well as the usual boring family and domestic snapshots, we have a whole bunch of James Dean stuff (courtesy of Sherry), a selection of our favourite recipes (Sherry and I met through a cookery bulletin board - a long story) and some tiger pix kindly donated by Mike Donegan (a friend and colleague).
