Cabbage in Caraway Cream

One of my favourite aesy side dishes.

Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
1 small head of firm cabbage, coarsely shredded
1 tsp salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp caraway seeds
3 tsp granulated sugar
1½ tbsp vinegar
½ cup sour cream
Heat the butter in a skillet. Add the cabbage, salt and garlic and stir well. Cover tightly and steam ten minutes.

Add the caraway seeds, sugar and vinegar and mix well. Stir in the sour cream and serve immediately.

Serves 4
