Amy's Brilliant Brownies
Contributed by : Amy

I've found that undercooked or overcooked, people still propose on the strength of these cakes so I wouldn't worry too much - except maybe about who you give them to!

Picture

Ingredients
4oz butter/marg
4oz really dark chocolate (preferably green and blacks 70% cocoa - cos it's really yummy and fairly traded !!)
4oz plain flour
8oz sugar
2 really large eggs
1tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
2oz walnuts - if you like that sort of thing
Melt the choc and butter in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan containing a little simmering water.

Put all the dry ingredients into a big bowl.

Add melted chociness, give a little mix then add the eggs and mix well.

Pour into a greased brownie tin - about 23x23 - and cook for 25 mins at 180°C (NB - My oven is fan assisted and therefore cooks quicker than non-fa ovens so they make take longer to cook in other ovens)
